Guide From Afar

1

As I pass down the pathway of life,

Days go by, it seems without direction or cause
I’m lost in time, floating in space
Some days seem like I’m in a race, pushing the rope
Lost – floating – no direction, just cold and all alone
When I tug at the rope of life,
Something happens, and make’s times so right & bright
‘Tis that lost space in time,
When the cause does not seem true or right

Then I see a shooting star, or the twinkle of light
It could be from the eyes of a friend
Straight from the heavens or the sky late at night
That glow in the heart of my good friend
That makes me realize it is all part of my pathway of life
