Just One Chance

just one

                                 JUST ONE……….

                Sometimes it takes just one…………..

One word. One gift. One act of kindness.
One. Just one.
One phone call answered. One response. One prayer.
Just one.

                Sometimes it’s only one……………………..

One person. Just one.
One person you can call. One person who will answer.
One person who will listen. One person who will act.
One person who will pray…………
Just one.

                Sometimes it just takes one…………………….

One day. One night. One cry for help. One scream.
One voice of reason.
One pair of bended knees.
One prayer.
Just one

                Sometimes we just need one………………

One door. One yes. One heart.
One talk. One song. One tear.
One friend.
One prayer, for just one chance, to serve one God.

                 Sometimes it just takes one….

If you write such intensely beautiful poetry for a distant friend, I should wonder what you write about those in your direct vicinity! Thank you for this gem.

That’s so true. Often enough, when our lives are easy and going well for us, we might forget about how true that is,…but when we need it…of course we really notice it!!
