Ron D. Coffee. For most of my career, I’ve been an electronics technician and a maverick engineer. I currently work for the USGS, providing support for their field operations. Over the years, electronics has opened a lot of doors for me. I’ve worked everything from industrial controls to Femto-second lasers. My proudest work was helping to build the guide-star laser for the Gemini Telescopes, the first to image a planet around a sun-like star.
I write science fiction, horror and psychic detective adventures. I’ve been a member of Ed Bryant’s Writers Circle workshop for several years. Ed is well known in the horror and science fiction genres. Ed and the group have helped me develop my writing from rough concepts, into sellable products.
I live in Denver Colorado, where I enjoy writing, caving and outdoor activities.
