Terry L. White

I am a published author with 20 books either in print, ebook or both formats waiting for the world to read my work. I was raised in Appalachia, eldest of eight children and often made up stories to entertain my younger siblings. For years I worked in service jobs and wrote as a sideline until I earned a degree from Skidmore College's University Without Walls where my concentration was in American Studies and the written word. Armed with the degree and the desire to become the writer I always believed I could be, I took a job with a daily paper where I wrote as many as five stories a day that placed me solidly in the Eastern Shore community. Later, I worked for non-profits learning to publicize and fund my work. All the while, from my waitress days when writing was a dream pursued in the odd moments between shifts. I am now free to write as much as I wish, but I have worked at the craft penning many volumens offered in the new world of publishing and available in paper and e-book formats.
