A New Yorker born and bred, I have published two comic fantasy novels with Avon, "Strong Spirits" and "The Devil You Say." These days I'm writing a blog, "Diary of A Mad Fashionista," from the POV of the second most feared woman in fashion. I am also on twitter @madfashionista.
Recently I published a historical novel, "The Abortionist's Daughter," set in 1916. It combines my passions for vintage clothing, show business history, and women's rights. Melanie, the titular character, is trapped in a tiny village after her father is sent to prison. She elopes with a stranger, and enters a world far more complicated than she could have imagined. I'm having a hard time describing this, but it's a cracking good read.
