I caught the writing bug in fifth grade when my teacher encouraged me by announcing to the class, "One day, Laurie will be an author." I hid those words in my heart. My desire is to encourage other writers to fulfill their dreams, and finally, to leave a legacy through my writing. One of hope, joy, humor, and healing.
