Who Do I Vote For?

I have to say it does matter who you vote for, although with many articles I haven’t come out and said who I have picked – but people in my book always come first, and their future starts tomorrow. This is a difficult election because many people have short memories of the past, although I know you have felt the pain, witnessed the sadness. I am a people person, one who advocates for their rights, and when I see those rights being taken away it makes me speak out, and let the world know what’s stored inside this heart of mine. Far too many people are going to vote, perhaps on advertisements and not the real man – perhaps on one or two mistakes that they recall – but when voting, think about those who are already walking in harms way, and when the rug is pulled, the problems grow.
I only wish both parties could work together as it should be, instead of bullying, the one thing we teach our children not to do is found in Washington – politics is a boxing match, and unfortunately it can rip apart the good and destroy the person as quickly as you pull a lever or mark a ballot. As a Democrat, and one who does not believe this war was needed, we are far and above the battle ground when we were searching for one soul, and many had to die. When it comes to economics in this country, yes, we need a great from both sides, to agree and iron out the problems in a civil way, to protect the people and our future. We need to open up Obamas health care and show him there is change needed, and he must understand, (which is never brought up in a debate or in conversation) That Social Security Insurance must go on – and Medicare is for the elderly but no one talks about those who are young, and live sparsely on Medicare while battling illness with Medicare as their primary health care provider. I will never understand why politicians avoid this topic. Thanks for the truth in learning. Always, Nancy
