Vincent van Gogh Suicide

Did Van Gogh commit suicide or did two teens, who were known to him, kill him?

If they didn’t kill him, did they make off with the missing revolver and painting supplies?
These questions inspired,

Vincent:

The artist, the one who died,

shot, left bleeding in a field

of sunflowers in spring bloom –

bright colors rivaling his blood.

The canvasses swirled with anguish –

dark colors rivaling his mind;

and the boys who jumped from a bridge

laughing into a farmer’s canal

where they washed away the sins

of the artist who died mad

from listening to night and stars –

stark colors rivaling the sun.
