sits looking down
At torn shoes
shocks showing, remembering
turkey legs being
an exciting time
just because even
in the midst
of her struggles
Mother made adventures
out of mere
simplicities in life
Staring at the
reflection of Mother’s
life, parallel to
her own, a
reflection of turning
all things exciting
that our struggles
never end showing
not pain yet
joy of life.
