Love

Is loving the same as needing?

A condition requiring supply or relief?
An obligation?
So I searched for the meaning of love

And found benevolent concern,
affection based on admiration,
enthusiasm.

How dull.
If I need you sounds sickly,
then I love you is already dead.

How then do I accurately express what you mean to me?

How every second of time
like every cell in my body
resonates in endless joy

You are this experience.

All I’ll ever know
is that your soul is me
and my soul is you
