Leonard Dabydeen is a Guyanese-born Canadian who hails from Canje, a small rural district in the county of Berbice, Guyana, South America. He was formerly a school teacher, Headmaster and a lecturer at the Government Teachers’ Training College, with a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Guyana, before coming to Canada in 1983. He is currently a Licensed Paralegal and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. A published author and creative writer. Human Rights advocatte.
