I heard a brand new pop group
In an English garden dear
They sang so nice and sweetly
Their song was crystal clear
Now there was something special
About this group you see
The lead singer was a squirrel
Sitting in a tree
His backing group were blue tits
Who round him sweetly sang
While he moved just like Elvis
As his song he sung
They did three songs all rock and roll
Their antics were just fine
Sparrows even sang along
Now that was quite sublime
Now I’ve heard they made the big time
And records they have made
They’re touring all the night clubs
They really have a rave
