Color the Earth

The season unreels with an air of majesty
and mystery, measured by God’s celestial clock.
The world would witness the changing times,
as the air becomes cool and crisp.

The colors reds, oranges, yellows and mixed colors
mark the leaves, a testament to the beautiful
labor of love manifested in nature.

The colors fill the spectrum of the senses and
shine in the hearts of all who survey
God’s work.

The leaves labor to
maintain their life flowing force,
only to be swept away by the wind and rain,
returning to the earthen soil from whence they came.
