An Art Within
An Art Within
Etches on a tree for eternity to see,
Clearly written lover’s names.
Would two hearts sustain the test of time?
Or would they lose their way?
A root of an unobtrusive tree grows strong,
Though the leaves swiftly fall.
Shuffling through seasons like playlist songs,
Each lost leaf a tale.
Branches cracked, bark retreating,
Oh, how the youth diminishes.
But what inside is never breached,
A strength and love sees finished.
As time teaches the cruelty of life
And the leaves begin to wither.
Spring abounds once again,
As love is shown by its creator.
In the days of bareness,
Despair leads your heart towards empty,
Know that a time will surely come,
When love’s overflow is plenty.
Will two hearts stand the test of time?
Only time foretells.
But whatever ending, it shall be fine,
God’s hope to us prevails.
When love bequests our way,
Let us carefully consider.
Though amour is forecasted yet to stay.
We control neither heart, death, nor weather.
The intemperate drafts of life
Appear to overwhelm us.
But, rewards of difficulty
Is an art residing within.
