A Star For Me To Hold
A conflageration of vivid shade,
in the shadow darkened skies.
A beauty simply Heaven made,
burning before my eyes.
Graceful as the shooting star,
rival to Heaven’s gate.
A light shinning near and far,
more depth than love or hate.
Calm as the skies of blue,
bright as the summer sun.
Gazing upon this beauty true,
my walls have been undone.
This brilliant, raging star of gold,
stole my heart away.
Now this star is mine to hold,
in my arms she will stay.
