Have You Ever Spoken to the Dead?

Have You Ever Talked to a Loved One after Their Death?  Have you ever spoken to someone who has died?

People are all different; from the genius, too your next-door neighbor, relative, and friend.  To those who believe or do not believe – and those who have not communicated with the dead or given special gifts – and of course to the skeptics; to witness the unpredictable, and believe, takes a special understanding of those gifts given to others, passed along from one generation to the next – if you want to accept it.

I most certainly believe in fakes, but I know the difference between a false story, and a real one.  You may wonder why.

In my own lifetime, I have experienced many strange things, and if I were alone, perhaps my experiences would be hard to understand.  I have always been among honest and believable people when apparently, I am being told; listen, understand, remember, and with a trail of evidence for me to share.  I trust in what I see, and believe there is a reason for each circumstance.

Spoken-to-the-DeadSpirits are taken seriously by some people but not others, those who ignore anything that doesn’t have a clear cut answer.  Why would this happen to me?  I will start this with the latest meeting, and would gladly share more.  Let me open up a topic I believe needs to be shared.

Not long ago, perhaps one month, on a peaceful evening in the room where my husband and I watch our large screen, for movies, and munch on tacos or pizza; we stopped and looked at one another.

The room, filled with light from the movie projected onto a large screen.  To each side of the screen is about one foot the screen does not cover, and keepsakes are placed and nothing but an earthquake could move them.    (Remember, this is the latest event, these things go back to childhood)  The movie was great, the food great, and the company, when out of the blue from one of the shelves near the screen which we were watching shoots a bottle, filled, at us, and lands on the wooden floor without breaking.  We looked at one another, both seeing something flying through the air, not falling from a shelf.  We were not surprised.

I tend to smile now when something happens, and, I do ask for them, and I do receive.  I asked my husband, “Please see what was thrown in our direction.”  Falling from a shelf is one thing, but literarily throwing a heavy object is another.  He is aware of the other side, but this too is another long story which will have to wait.  We are not bothered, but happy when we receive answers.  So, he stands and walks to pick up this bottle filled with champagne, and the label reads, Nancy and Don’s Anniversary, and the date.

We both knew what it meant, I had asked for a sign, and he admitted he did some talking too.  That night, we received what we were waiting for.  Although this is a rather dull example, when I could write a book about the true stories that occurred in my lifetime, but I thought, the most recent would be a great place to start.

Experiencing these things can give hope.  One must believe, to receive.  One must come from a line of people with the same abilities to communicate with the dead, not only think they can, or do it to gain prosperity – you see, I am writing this to give hope to others, to let them know you never leave your loved ones.  I am taking a chance admitting to the truth since far too many are skeptics, but if you really knew me, you already know I am far from someone who would even talk about something, which was not true.  If you know me, most of what I write is completely non-fiction.  So, believe me, I am sharing so it may help others.

It is true, the gift is passed through generations, and those who have believed, understood, can, if they wish, explain to the young what is really happening.  I believe this is important, and opens up a new world of understanding.

Many things have occurred, and I am willing to share, but I would like to know if you are one who has a special gift.  It was only a few days ago, attending a conference with professionals, when I spoke with someone, who knew, by standing next to me, we were alike.  It is funny how the soul reaches out to those with similar traits, and this includes many aspects of life.

People are afraid of the unknown, perhaps it is time to open up, or even wonder – why did something so different happen to me? (Meaning you.)

As someone who has held back this for many years from others, because far too many do not experience the same things, I wanted to cautiously, but boldly, share with you one small experience of far too many to write, unless it were a book.

If you feel you can share something, no matter how small, or perhaps you have no answers to why something happened, please do.

I guess, no one really knows the truth about life, and we only can speak about what we know.  As one with evidence, I can give testimony and hope you accept it as a bit of experience which may be helpful in your own life, one day.

My father suddenly died in 2002. While sitting at my parents home, grieving, planning the funeral, and greeting family as they came by to express their condolences, the phone rang. I answered, “hello”, and for a second or two, nothing. Then, I heard the strangest language being spoken. It wasn’t anything currently being used, but I could tell that someone was trying, aggressively, to speak and tell me something. It scared me a little, so I hung up. Then, it happened again minutes later. Same scenario. Somehow, I felt it was my father letting me know he was okay. After that, it never happened again. It still gives me goose bumps thinking about it.

I think that for some who have passed, they kind of hang around for a while, in spirit, til they hopefully ascend into heaven. I haven’t had any more signs from my dad, but I know he’s doing well til I see him again.

    Enjoyed the article, Nancy!

We all have spirit in us and we seem to forget it. You can drink booze, do drugs, or abuse your health and escape this, but we can’t. Someone once said to me:” we pick our lives before we are born, we live them, and at death death is not really what it is all claimed to be. Death is when we return home. ” I once read about Indigo Adults and crystol adults too. Then I began to notice it with people around me, or with strangers I meet in the world. Some call it LIghtworkers but really it is all about just being human.

Thanks Paul, Interesting post and one I believe in. I am a firm believer that we are here for a reason, and we do return, we tend to remain along the same path but we advance, or branch out onto the other places we touched in one life, but never quite went as far as predicted. We are never leaving this earth, as a spirit we are in search of others who need help, or not everyone is a good spirit, etiher. The light theory is wonderful, and yes, if you believe, and are determined to see others on the other side, it can be done, it is done, and has been done. My best, Nancy

Someone once said with a desired effect: “Once we come to the point of inner God realization, that God dwells in us all and everything..that is the point of this existence. If you realize that and that alone then you have evolved. If we can’t let go of our ego, materialism, or possessions then we remain here trapped in our own illusions of life.” They went on and on but the whole point is for us to find a point of detachment and once we reach this point we can move on. And the whole world is illusionary. This is a world of illusion. I hope that made sense. To come full circle, that is why spirits remain–they can’t let go. I hope that made sense. All the best!

Believable…, unbelievable…, depends on your point of view, but definitely interesting Nancy.

Physics, quantum physics; everything we allegedly “know” is based on “assumptions” and not spirits. But, when we calculate…, all the way to infinity…, the proportion of physical matter to the invisible and poorly understood energy that gives such matter its shape and “mass”, the result is no matter at all. Everything we know, see, touch, smell and hear including ourselves is made up of pure energy.

Could that be the reason we believe in ghosts, parallel universes and string theory? Our pitifully ignorant understanding of ourselves forces us to imagine and believe that we are special and that this universe in which we allegedly reside actually exists. Oh how arrogant we are to even believe such things. Or…, on the other hand…, perhaps, just perhaps some of us are evolving ever closer to the truth. A truth that eludes us; a truth that says you, I and everything that exists is part and parcel of a greater thing many of us call God.

Paul – thank you and it certainly makes sense – with that I have to say I have come full circle, and glad to admit it. Those who try to deny the existence of another place and time, are only going by what they have not experienced, believed in… for me, it was a way of life, and it grew stronger as you said, and it continues. There isn’t a time in a span of a few days I am not touched by someone I loved and yes, visits occur. I thank you for your post. And I wish more people understood how certain I am, this is a beautiful experience, always has been. Sincerely, Nancy Thanks!

    Hi RH

Well I am far from the scientist, but I am close to the energy that this happens on a regular basis. I am glad it does. When this occurs between both myself and my husband, sitting together watching a movie – (not the first time but the latest event as a couple) there is no doubting it. If you knew my husband, he is the opposite of myself, quiet, not a writer, but a business person. I knew he had to be convinced a long time ago, and he was, the stories go on and on, but for him to be so determined to walk through snow up to his waist to visit a grave, I knew he was now, experiencing what I had experienced all my life. It makes life easier when you can talk about these things to your other half.

When you say the truth eludes, oh yes it does if you haven’t been there and done that as the saying goes. I have been there, even asked for certain things for others, over and over… I have to say I think this is similar to what runs in families, though, if you do not believe, you will never know.

Believing, is the root to the truth.

I am so pleased you commented.
    Sincerely Nancy

Now this is a subject I could enjoy discussing for years. As a high school sophomore, I proved (in theory of course) that “nothing can travel faster than the speed of light” is not correct. Although the teacher was never able to prove my theory wrong, it was still unacceptable until recent experiments have proven that I was right. So, what does that mean?

The “assumptions” of physics upon which we base all existence are exactly that, assumptions.

Here’s something to think about. By seeing a color, say red or green, in your first few years of education, you learned to call that color by the name you were told to call it. You matched your mind’s picture of whatever you saw to the name your teacher gave it. It’s easy to accept and believe this as a “fact”.

Now, a question: Can you prove that what your mind sees as that color looks exactly the same as what my mind sees? Forget the color spectrum or measuring the reflected light energy in nanometers. Instead, consider that light as pure energy. Our rules of physics tell us it is.

It passes through your eye energizing nerve receptors, sending electrical impulses to your brain where your brain, your thinking mechanism, creates a thought. In other words, your mind “thinks” a picture of the color based on the energy it has just received. But…, does your “thought” appear to you in the exact same way (or color) as my “thought” appears to me?

Now, what does all this have to do with spiritual energy? Well, we can (allegedly) measure the frequency of energy from the low sounds we can hear to the “invisible” ultra high x-rays. But what if there are other frequencies that some, like you, are attuned to and can receive? Could that be the otherworldly communication of which you speak?

I do not discount nor denigrate the experiences you’ve detailed. It’s merely a subject I’ve been aware of and have experienced but haven’t been able to find or create an algorithm or “law” that explains it and I am a curious person who always wants to find out what makes this tick.

So please continue your exploration and experiences. I find this subject totally fascinating.
