Eva Blaskovic
Eva Blaskovic is a multi-genre author of short and long fiction, blogger, and writer of non-fiction articles on parenting, writing, education, health, and travel. Her background encompasses both the sciences and the arts. She teaches at a specialized clinic for learning difficulties and mentors young authors.
Eva has played eight musical instruments and spent many years immersed in taekwondo and karate. As a youth, she was an avid canoeist. She was born in Prague, Czech Republic, grew up in Ontario, Canada, and moved to Alberta in 1988, where she raised four children.
Current works-in-progress include novels BEYOND THE MUSIC (companion to Beyond the Precipice), DRUYAN (fantasy adventure novel), IRONCLAD (supernatural adventure novelette), a parenting/educator handbook, and a cookbook.
BEYOND THE PRECIPICE, a reality-based, interpretive literary fiction/psychological suspense novel based in the Edmonton and the University of Alberta area, addresses issues of grief, abuse, and the power of unconditional love against a backdrop of the passion for music and the need to be true to oneself.
