Morgan Brittany is the co-owner and anchor for PolitiChicks and co-author of the book What Women Really Want.  She has been an actress for almost her entire life and worked with such legendary stars as Rosalind Russell, Natalie Wood, Lucille Ball, Bob Hope and Henry Fonda, to name a few.

Gina Loudon, Ph.D., is the host of Smart Life with Dr. Gina on MoneyBizLife Network seen every weekday in cities around the country on BizTV and heard on the BizTalkRadio Network. She frequently appears on Fox News and Fox Business Networks and has appeared multiple times on Comedy Central’s Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Al Jazeera network.

Tell us about your background. Who you are, where you are from?
Ann-Marie Murrell is originally from Texas—7th generation—but has lived in Los Angeles, most of her adult life.  Dr. Gina Loudon is originally from Missouri but now lives in San Diego, and Morgan Brittany is a native Californian.

what-women-really-wantWhat themes does your book explore and what do you hope the readers will take away from the experience? Is there a particular feeling or experience that you wish to evoke in the reader?
We believe today’s feminist movement impedes women more than it empowers them.  Our book, What Women Really Want, is meant to encourage women to be whomever they want to be—including that career the feminist movement seems to detest the ‘stay-at-home mom.’  What Women Really Want also urges women to be informed and involved in everything from their local school system to politics.

What prompted you to be an author and did you have a particular inspiration in mind? Did an individual, artist, or genre influence you?
The three of us speak across the country and make frequent appearances on radio and television.  Wherever we go, the voices we hear speaking loudest are women, which is why our website PolitiChicks.com features the hundreds of women writers from across the United States. We decided that, in order to become even more effective and influential, we needed a book to convey and spread our message.

If you could compare your book to any other existing works, which ones would it be and why?
Even though they’re not women, I’d say we were inspired by the works of other political activist leaders like Andrew Breitbart, Mark Levin, and Dennis Prager. We also love Sarah Palin’s tenacity, and the way she refuses to back down no matter who tries to knock her down.

Tell us about your latest work and what inspired you.
We are always busy with all-things-PolitiChicks.com, and will be headline speakers at the upcoming Unite IE Conservative Conference in California.  We are also beginning our second book together, to be announced as soon as possible.

How can your readers contact you? Or buy your books? Or where can they sign up for a newsletter?
You can buy What Women Really Want on Amazon, in Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, WalMart, and also on our website PolitiChicks.com

Thanks for taking the time for this interview. All the best!
