So just to recap; totally free, a chance to win $1000, I can enter as many of my stories as I like.

There is an old Barbadian (Bajan) saying, “Ya could could or ya don’t could, but ya gotta could”.

Thanks Angie, this is a great idea / opportunity.

Then you had better get busy Daphne, I’ve already contributed two – one story for small children, the other a humorous dog story. 🙂

Can the stories have been previously published, or do they have to exclusive to Angie’s Diary?

    Good point, Pat!
We realized we didn’t make that sufficiently clear – as a result we have expanded our rules above to address your question.

Very interesting. I hope I can get to the 250 Florin mark so I can enter. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. Like I always say, money is always a great gift/prize. It’s always the right color and size, and no long waits for returns 😀

Hi, Crystal, I agree, there’s nothing like a money prize, especially if you win 🙂
I understand that you can enter NOW, and “work” your way up to the 250 mark during the coming four months, up to the deadline of December first.
    Cheers, DS

I am going to start posting my short stories from now on Angie without prejudice to a need to wake up to my other regular posting. I am in between writings now so my brain should be clear now.

Do story entries count as posts and therefore earn florins?

  16. Avatar of Gianluca De Sanctis
    Gianluca De Sanctis says

    @Paula:
Yes, story entries = posts, and earn 5 florins each.
But there are even faster ways to earn florins:

    It’s all there, Cheers.

    Dear Friends & Colleagues,

In response to questions on several social networks about this and future contests:

This is the first year we hold this competition, and the magazine puts up the prize money of $1000.

In 2014 we plan to do a ‘prize pool’ that will determine the height of the money prize – every (paid) entry will increase the final prize – shown on the sidebar of the homepage. We still have to decide on an acceptable entry fee – suggestions are welcome.

    All my best,
    Angie
