After a particularly grueling conversation with a close friend who was yet again having trouble in her marriage, it occurred to me that she was once again playing the role of a victim, biding her time in the bad relationship as she peeked around a corner, desperately waiting for her knight in shining armor to make his appearance.</p></p><p><a
