Once upon a time… in a kingdom far, far away… lived more than romance and happy endings.
Love doesn’t always invoke sweet, innocent dreams, but its pursuit is certainly worthy of romantic illusions and provocative tales. Adults enjoy their own bedtime stories, whether enhanced by conventional magic or sprinkled with fairy dust.
Yet, beneath such guileless passions, lay more carnal forces lurking in the darkly lush shadows of enchanted forests and lovers’ embraces. It is here that we dare enter the forbidden kingdoms of desire, power and sensual joys. Did we not wish for more in our tales from childhood?

Nice writing and good hook Deborah. I would have left off the last line “Did we not wish for more in our tales from childhood?”, as it seems somewhat out of place.
