Persevere

Persevere, such a powerful word that has brought me to this point in my life.

No, I am not a well known author, but I will pursue my dream in having my children's books receive the recognition that they deserve. I am an author of three children's books BoBo the Race Car, BoBo Races on The Tricky Triangle and my current release Bess the Book Bus.

My books were published by Mirror Publishing, a self-publishing company. There are many pros and cons about self-publishing, but Mirror assisted me with each step during the publishing process. One must remember one thing about self-publishing, YOU MUST MARKET YOUR BOOK!

Like every new author, I was so thrilled when my first book was published, but it doesn't end there. It is a 24/7 task which requires a great deal of time and endless effort. With that being said, we are back to that powerful word PERSEVERE!. If you believe in it, it will happen.

Most of us are aware of the many changes that have and are still happening in the publishing industries. The new technologies, the Nook, the Kindle etc. etc. Some say the changes will be in favor of the self-publishing authors, others say the contrary. Like many of you, I wonder. Regardless of the outcome I will PERSEVERE!

I wish all new authors and up-coming authors much success with all of their endeavors. PERSEVERE EVERYONE!!!
