Each one of us has our own talents and artistic skills and it’s up to you if you decide to increase your creativity to its fullest.

There are lots and lots of strategies and simple methods around, and you might be surprised at how simple they can be! For one, it’s quite easy to compare ourselves to others. But the very important rule if you want to learn how to increase your creativity is to never compare yourself to anybody as this would only result in endless frustrations and sometimes bitterness. Well, you have to face the fact that each one of us is gifted with different talents and degree of artistry, and copying others will tend to let you think that you’re “less creative or artistic” than other people.

creativity Increase Your CreativityIf you want to increase your creativity, it’s important to note what you have already accomplished and all those you still wanted to accomplish in the future. To help you on your objective to increase your creativity, list of all the creative stuff you have done in the past that you can remember. And never try to trivialize any small artistic feats as insignificant-for they will take part as important contributors to your “creative profile”. And once you get the hang of it, you’ll realize that you have created (and achieved) a lot more than you thought. Even in those everyday monotonous tasks, you can always infuse some ingenuity in your daily work.

After that, another way to increase your creativity is to reward your artistic or creative attainments—however momentous or small they may be. This is your way of saying, “good job” or it’s like patting yourself at the back. This is your own motivation to yourself. For instance, you can treat yourself to fulfilling that long-awaited (and much deserved) vacation for a job well done. Or it can be even the smallest rewards you can give yourself like buying that book from your favorite author or watching your favorite movie that inspires you. When you recognize and acknowledge all your creative and artistic accomplishments, it becomes very helpful in your quest to heighten and increase your creativity.

In the end, we can always compliment and praise the talents of other individuals, but we must also take into consideration our own creative endeavors and not to compare our own artistic levels with anyone else, because only you alone can truly define yourself and your own merit especially when you want to increase your creativity.
