Katarina Silva kiss of death Gioco (Game)
I would remain half closed

in one only round bracket,
a belly from a line,
as if I were a small fetus
obscure to the world.

In this way I could save myself
from the hook you throw the first day,
not the second.

But I am still more hungry
of a rare steel caress
than of flesh
and I come to you
for the kiss
bleeding me to death.

I was born on the 13 of February 1977 in Pompei, not far from Napoli but I live in Ravello, amazing town on the Amalfi Coast, since I was a child. I graduated at University of Salerno in Lettere Classiche and I studied also violin. Writing is my first passion. In 2009 I published a fantasy novel set in Italy as an ebook in USA, but I write poems too.
Currently I am planning to do some public readings of my poems in NYC thanks to the famous poet Ron Whitehead.
