They say words don’t hurt
 Yet they leave imprints forever

They say actions don’t hurt
 Yet they leave imprints forever

I try to forget the past
 But the memories last
 Yet the scars remain
 The scars remain

I try to become stronger
 Yet the scars remain

Scars that will be there forever
 Yet I still keep on moving
 Keep on moving
 Yet the scars remain
