venus 300x168 God In Woman
I never much believed in God
Until she smiled at me today
A wondrous smile that brightened my heart
And showed me the way
I
If man is built in God’s image
Then only a God can this woman be
For if she is not God then my heart has played a cruel trick on me
God is what brings you hope
A sense of purpose, a connection in time and space
Some look for it in churches and books, longing to see God’s face
But they’ve got it all wrong
I have discovered this much to be true
The only God that really exists is the God that I see in you.
